The Producer/Director, Peter Rhodes, is a Brookline resident. A professional filmmaker for 20 years, he was recently awarded a Dupont-Columbia Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism. Since his early days at the BBC he has edited over 40 documentaries for the award-winning PBS series NOVA, Frontline and The American Experience. His passion however is to make films within his own community. These include An Alien Sneezed on Brook Street and Sayonara and So Long: A Lawrence School tribute to Jim Walsh.
Screenwriter and Co-Director, Marcy Goldberg (and Nurse Missy in the movie), worked in the Production and Art Department for the Emmy Award winning PBS children's program "Between the Lions" and recently completed an assignment creating a puppet neighborhood for a new Nick Jr. children's television pilot starring Whoopi Goldberg (no relation!). Her PBS credits include documentary films for Frontline, The American Experience & WGBH Educational Programming. She is currently working on a project for Nickelodeon's "Blues Clues" where she will be creating a fantasy children's playroom. Cinematographer, Boyd Estus, who also collaborated on Alien Sneezed on Brook Street, shot the Academy Award winning The Flight of the Gossamer Condor and the Academy Award nominee Eight Minutes to Midnight as well as many Emmy winning television productions. His feature credits include the recent Good Will Hunting, Foreign Affairs, Kurt Vonnegut's Between Time and Timbuktu, Dawn of Our Nation and the Klezmer music feature A Jumpin' Night in the Garden of Eden. Acting Coach Jeremy Solomons has worked with children and adults in Community Theater for over 20 years. A resident of Brookline, Jeremy is currently the Drama Artist-in-Residence at the Heath School, Brookline and a Professor of Theater at Massasoit Community College and of English at Suffolk University. Production Designer, Katha Seidman, specializes in designing historical recreations for documentaries. Her PBS credits include programs for The American Experience about Ulysses Grant, John Dillinger and the Rockefellers. Her work has also been seen on NOVA and Unsolved Mysteries. At the same time she is a painter whose work has been exhibited at Harvard, MIT and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. |
